Get Well Soon GaGa

Madi and Owen hope their GaGa is better soon.

It's cool to wear shades and get better soon GaGa.

Madi will wrestle snakes to make her GaGa get well soon.

Come on GaGa this is serious....get better and come see me.

Owen ate Oreos in hopes that this would make GaGa get well soon.

Madi Pics

Cutest baby at the park.

Time for a nap.

Get me off this floor NOW

Owen Pics

We headed to the park since the weather was so nice and I could hardly get Owen out of the swing.

The Easter bunny was good to Owen this year.

Hunting eggs in the basement.

Look mommy I found one!!!!

My fathers son

If there was ever any confusion about Owen being Gregs son (funny since they look exactly alike) here is more proof. I couldn't count the number of pics that I have seen of Greg when he was little asleep in random places, like the front porch. Owen has been on a boycott of naps but around 5:00 he just can't seem to stay awake. He passed out just like this in the basement while I was cooking dinner. I am mourning the loss of the nap but hopefully it is not gone for good.

Eggs

Here is Owen concentrating on coloring his eggs.

What colorful works of art.

Instead of saying "cheese" Owen says "Chuck-E-Cheese" or "cheeseburger". What a great smile. Madi slept through egg coloring but I have the cutest Easter outfit for her that has bunny ears and everything. So, stay tuned.....

Here she is

Here are pics of Madi in her new dress. She makes it even more cute. Oh, and if you can't tell from some of the recent pics getting Owen to wear pants is next to impossible.

I did it...

The bottom of the dress are quilt pieces that Gregs grandma cut out.

I still can't believe I made this.

Owen loves cheese puffs

This is Owen's pinewood derby car.

So, I decided that since I had so much free time :) I would take up sewing . Here are pics of my first project and some other pics just for fun. Next post will have pics of my sweet little girl wearing the dress I made.

The Outdoors in Again

Noodle necklaces are the height of fashion around the Davis house.

rice is a great alternative to sand

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

So, it is 8:00 on a Wednesday morning and I have offically pulled out all my tricks. I am SO over the cold weather and being trapped inside with a toddler that I have brought in the outside toys. I washed off the snow and dirt and here are a few pics of Owen enjoying my ideas. Luckily Owen has a friend coming over today so he won't drive me to crazy :)

Something fishy

Here is Owen after he touched the shark.

The penguins had 2 new chicks although you can't see them here.

What a smile.

We had a family outing to Newport Aquarium this weekend and I thought I would share a few pics. After seeing the first few fish Owen was ready to see 'the other animals' but much to his dismay there were only fish. He did get to touch a shark. He also really enjoyed the penguin exhibt. Madeline seemed to enjoy herself as you can tell by the smiles.

2 month check up

I swear I have a picture of Madeline to post, but as the camera is in her room and she is asleep it will have to wait. Friday was Madeline's 2 month check up (after a canceled appointment on Tuesday due to snow) and all is well. She is 10 lbs 6.5 oz and 22 inches long. She is in the 25th percentile for weight so I am not so sure that she really is a Davis :) since Owen has consistently been in the 90th. I think we are making progress in the reflux/colic arena. She has had some good nights lately which is a bonus. As for Owen, well he had a stomach bug (which means he vomited all over my van) but seems to be feeling just fine now. He is such a great kid and big brother. He dotes on Madeline all the time and is very protective of her. The other day we were getting his allergy shots and a lady in the waiting room was talking to Madeline saying how cute she was. Big brother steps in, covers Madeline up and says "Thats my baby sister... you no look at her...mommy take her home now!!" Luckily the lady didn't understand all that he said so I just laughed it off and said how protective he was of her.

Snow Day

We finally got some winter weather around here so Owen and I ventured outside to check it out. It was way to cold but he still wanted to make a "frosty" so I brought some of the outdoors in.
