I Do and the ZOO
We had a big Memorial Day weekend. We traveled to Columbus on Thursday night and were there for a flurry of wedding activities and managed to get some fun time in hanging out with Grammy, the Cedarville crew, and a couple of monkey (literally). Owen was so great at the zoo. We were there for about 5 hours and he just hung out, checked out the animals (I think he enjoyed the wild kids more), and even got to pet a snake. Uncle Shane, Aunt Erin, and Owen's future girlfriend Amelia went to the zoo with us making the trip so much fun. Greg and I managed (thanks to Grammy) to get some fun time together. We even got to go out to dinner for our anniversary (at the Melting Pot, My Favorite!!).

Bath Time?
Jell---Oh No
Owen had his first experience feeding himself Jell-O and boy did he have fun. He had it everywhere. We went straight to the bath after this one. He love it though. It was so fun to watch him try to chew it up. Also, I made blueberry pancakes for him last week. He loves blueberrys, but I made the mistake of letting him eat them while wearing all white. What was I thinking?

TGFG
THANK GOD FOR GRANDPARENTS
This weekend was great!! Greg's mom and dad were in and we did a TON of yard work. I think we (meaning Greg and his dad) managed to cut down the equivalent of a tree in our yard (and we still have more to go). I started a landscaping project in the front yard; which will probably never get finished. Owen had a big time. He managed to get more attention in a weekend then he usually gets in a week. He also managed to snag a new wagon. He seems to love it, but has already gotten himself in trouble for trying to stand in it. Also, true to his form he saved a new first for the grandparents. He has two new teeth coming in (one on the bottom and one on the top) and he took two steps on his own without holding on to anything. Greg and I missed the steps, but something tells me we will get to see more than our fair share of his running around. We can't get him to sit still for anything; diaper changes are a wrestling match and I can't say I always win. My baby is growing up way too fast.
